Forklift Driver to Föglö, Åland for fish industry, permanent employment, AX- Föglö

We are now looking for a forklift driver for a permanent position in the nature paradise of the Åland island of Föglö (if desired, a fixed-term contract is possible).

Job duties include using a forklift in various stages of production and warehouse operations, such as moving products, loading and unloading cargo, and ensuring the smooth flow of material in the production area. The forklift used is a counterbalance electric forklift (brand: Linde). The work requires good precision, initiative, and the ability to operate safely in a busy environment. The working areas are cool, approximately +2 – +6°C, so readiness to work in the cold is important. You will also drive the forklift on a slightly sloped yard. As needed, you can also participate in other tasks supporting production. At Kalaneuvos, you will become part of a professional and truly collaborative "work family."

Who is the job suitable for? We are looking for a person with communication skills and the ability to work independently, who is not afraid to take action. Previous experience in using a forklift is a requirement for this job. You will, of course, receive comprehensive orientation for the specific forklift model and the working environment. The job is suitable for someone close to nature, as the workplace is located on the island of Föglö, amidst archipelago landscapes. Please speak English so that communication within the team proceeds without problems.

• Salary: approx. 13-14.50eur/h, according to experience
• Collective agreement: Elintarvikealan TES
• Employment relationship: via Bolt
• Start date: flexibly according to agreement
• There is a good opportunity to advance in the role

If you wish, we will arrange accommodation for you: you will typically stay with another employee in a terraced house apartment or studio, and the rent is approx. 300-450eur, and includes, or does not include, electricity / water, depending on the apartment (you will receive exact information upon the job offer).
