Welders to Sweden – Skellefteå area,

We are looking for experienced welders for our client's site at Boliden, near Skellefteå in Northern Sweden!

An approximately 8–12 week work opportunity is on offer, where you can utilize your welding expertise as part of a professional team. The job is particularly suitable for you who already have experience in industrial or construction site welding and an interest in going to work in Sweden.

What does the job entail?

The tasks consist mainly of welding mild steel using MIG/MAG and MMA welding methods. The work is performed in a construction site environment, where tasks may vary according to the progress of the project.

We expect you to have the ability to work independently, read technical drawings, and ensure the quality and safety of your own work.

Work will likely take place on a rotation, meaning there are longer breaks between work periods. A possible work rhythm could be, for example, one week at work and one week off. The exact work rhythm will be confirmed later with the client, and we are happy to discuss it during the application stage.

What do we expect from you?

• Previous work experience in welding, especially MIG/MAG and MMA welding
• Experience in welding mild steel
• Ability to read technical drawings and work independently
• A thorough and safe approach to work
• B-license and the possibility of using your own car
• Readiness to work in Sweden

Knowledge of the Swedish language is considered an advantage, but it is not an absolute requirement for all roles. If you do not speak Swedish, sufficient English language skills for working are the minimum requirement.

You will be employed through the services of our Swedish company Bolt.Works Sverige AB, and your employment will follow the Teknikavtalet collective agreement in Sweden.

Even though the employment contract is made with our Swedish company, you do not have to figure out all the practical matters related to working in Sweden alone. We will help you, for example, with matters related to Swedish taxation and necessary registrations. Accommodation arrangements are also planned together to ensure that starting work is as smooth as possible.
