Spend an unforgettable winter season at the foot of Saana, right on the border of Norway! We are looking for a waiter to Cahkal Hotel for the winter season 2026–2027.

Cahkal Hotel is a family-owned boutique hotel located in Kilpisjärvi, 400 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle, combining Lapland's unique nature, experiences, and relaxed luxury. The hotel's Aika Kitchen & Bar offers culinary experiences based on the flavors of Arctic nature and the Arctic Ocean to international guests. The kitchen utilizes local and seasonal ingredients, and the restaurant's large windows offer views directly into the Arctic nature of Kilpisjärvi.

As a breakfast cook, you will be responsible for preparing a high-quality and diverse hotel breakfast and ensuring that the first meal of the day starts smoothly. The job combines independent work, good organizational skills, and food prepared from high-quality ingredients. You will get to work with international customers in the unique environment of Kilpisjärvi.

Your duties include, among other things:

• Preparation and presentation of breakfast
• Ensuring the smoothness and quality of breakfast
• Preparation of ingredients and prep work
• Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and order
• Participating in other hotel and kitchen tasks if necessary

We hope from you:

• Previous experience in cook work
• Fluent English language skills
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for your own work
• Good organizational skills, thoroughness, and flexibility
• Hygiene passport

Salary and employment contract:

• 14.5-15.5€/h according to experience and skills
• 90 - 112.5h / 3 weeks fixed-term employment contract
• Work begins in early December and ends in mid-April.
