Strategic Buyer (m/f/d) (Buyer)

To support our team, we are looking for a Strategic Buyer (m/f/d) at the earliest possible date.

Your tasks:

• Responsibility for the procurement processes for components and assemblies
• Internal and external coordination of technical and commercial requirements
• Fulfillment of requirements from design and production with optimal commercial conditions
• Strategic purchasing activities such as supplier management, risk management, conducting supplier meetings and price negotiations, as well as concluding framework supply agreements
• Selection and support of suppliers on-site
• Evaluation of material and manufacturing costs as well as identification of savings potential
• Development and implementation of international procurement strategies
• Support of the team with operational topics

Your profile:

• Recognized qualification
• Experience from the purchasing of a manufacturing company, ideally from the mechanical engineering sector
• Knowledge of contract law
• Good English skills in speaking and writing
• Hands-on mentality and the ability to work in a detailed and process-oriented manner across departments
• Sound, confident appearance and strong assertiveness
• Temporary willingness to travel
