Store Opening Supervisor / Operations Manager

About the Role

We are expanding our tea brand internationally and looking for an experienced Store Opening Supervisor to lead new store launches. You'll drive pre-opening preparation, staff training, and on-site operations to ensure every new store opens smoothly and hits company standards from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end new store opening preparation: renovation checks, equipment setup, inventory readiness, and opening timeline management

• Recruit, onboard, and train local store staff on product preparation (SOP), POS systems, hygiene standards, and customer service

• Organize pre-opening drills and soft launches to ensure the team is fully ready for daily operations

• Provide on-site supervision during the opening period, overseeing product quality, service speed, and store cleanliness

• Monitor early-stage sales performance and operational KPIs, identifying issues and driving improvements

• Support store managers in resolving operational issues (customer complaints, equipment issues, staffing gaps) during the launch phase

• Act as the liaison between headquarters and local stores, feeding back on-the-ground insights and coordinating resource support

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in store operations or supervisory roles within F&B/retail chains, ideally with new store opening experience

• Strong on-site problem-solving skills, able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and team training abilities

• Willingness to travel between store locations as needed during opening phases

• Experience with tea/beverage chain brands is a plus
