Your responsibilities:
As Sales Manager, you are the strategic pivot figure, the key figure within the sales department in terms of people management and operational coordination. You will further expand our logistical and commercial services for the benefit of a sustainable and reliable partnership with our customers. In this, you are the vital link between the company and the customer. To provide good service, we commit to proactively thinking along with our customers and responding flexibly to their needs and wishes.
- You take the lead in customer files, negotiate at a high level, and take responsibility for the further operational implementation of these deals.
- Communication is your second nature. Not only will you be responsible for overarching projects, you are also immediately the point of contact for our internal departments.
- You translate and coordinate customer needs into projects and procedures, offering solutions for customer questions and problems. Furthermore, as the person ultimately responsible, you ensure the development and maintenance of these customer relationships.
- You don't just think about the now, you also think about the future. You eagerly respond to new opportunities and market developments.
- Your strategy contributes to optimizing our services and processes, both in the short and long term.
- You achieve results together with your team. You actively involve your team in the processes, evaluate, and guide them where necessary.
Your ideal background:
- For this position, we are looking for a solid candidate who knows how to align their actions with the achievement of objectives and results.
- You are strong in detecting needs and you are solution-oriented; both towards customers and your employees. Our ideal candidate is assertive, punctual, entrepreneurial, enthusiastic, self-confident, resourceful, consistent, and accurate.
- Solid and proven experience (min. 6 years) in sales within a logistical environment.
- Bachelor level in a logistical and/or sales direction.
- Professional knowledge of English is a must.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel).
