Group Lead Buyer Software - M/F

WHAT DOES THE DAY-TO-DAY LOOK LIKE?

Procurement & Performance is the Group's Procurement function that supports business lines and functions in optimizing their purchases of goods and services in order to create value, control costs, and secure relationships with the Group's external partners.

The function operates across all of the Group's external expenditures and supports strategic transformation projects.

You will join the Software Procurement team, composed of 20 employees, specializing in software procurement and projects related to new technologies, digital, and cloud.

You will evolve in an international environment, in connection with the Group's main IT players. The position is based in Mérignac. A teleworking agreement is in place and the offices are modern, set up in flex-office.

Concretely, you will be required to: Support the managers of the Group's IT entities in formalizing their needs and developing specifications.

• Define and implement the best sourcing strategies with software publishers to meet business and technological challenges.
• Manage consultations, analyze received offers, and negotiate the operational, financial, and legal dimensions of contracts.
• Conduct complex direct negotiations with some of the Group's most strategic software suppliers.
• Ensure the deployment, monitoring, and communication of Group contracts to internal clients and the Procurement division.
• Develop customer satisfaction with the covered IT departments and contribute to the continuous improvement of Procurement processes and methodologies.
• Promote Procurement best practices, generate savings on assigned projects, and contribute to the definition and deployment of procurement strategies for the Software category.

WHAT COMES AFTER?

This position will allow you to develop recognized expertise in IT and software procurement, high-stakes strategic negotiations, as well as supporting the Group's technological transformation projects.

You will be exposed to high-level interlocutors and participate in strategic reflections as well as management committees, allowing you to develop an important network within BNP Paribas.

An integration program is planned with support from a senior buyer to facilitate your skill development.

This experience may then open opportunities for evolution within the Procurement division, Procurement & Performance, or towards other strategic functions of the Group.

ARE YOU OUR NEXT GROUP LEAD BUYER SOFTWARE?

You have a Master's degree (RNCP Level 7) and at least 5 years of experience in procurement, with knowledge of IT procurement, specifically software, or a comparable technological environment.

You have solid experience in strategic procurement, managing calls for tender, and negotiating complex contracts.

You master the financial, legal, and operational issues related to software procurement.

You are proficient in the Office Pack, notably Excel and PowerPoint, and speak English fluently.
