Education and experience
- University/college degree in economics.
- At least three years of experience as a Business Controller.
- Advanced user of Excel and able to work with large amounts of data in a structured and efficient manner.
- Has an understanding of how accounting and bookkeeping affect the result.
- Has experience in financial management and business planning.
- Experience from the insurance industry is meritorious but absolutely not a requirement.
- Can make clear presentations in Power Point.
- Communicates fluently in English both orally and in writing.

BNP Paribas Cardif is now seeking a Business Controller. As a Business Controller, you report to the leader for Performance Management (part of the finance department), but the position involves contact surfaces throughout the entire organization. You will work primarily at a Nordic level but sometimes also at a country level.
As the work is responsible and at times very complex, it is important that you can quickly and independently absorb new information and that you can conduct investigations and analyses with a critical approach. It is also very important that you can handle large amounts of data in an efficient manner and that you have a drive to complete tasks with good results.
The work includes regular reporting to internal and external stakeholders, but the focus lies on streamlining processes and routines as well as conducting qualified analyses.
Your main tasks/areas of responsibility
- Develop our model for profitability monitoring and analysis at the partner and product level.
- Participate in the production and development of ”Value creation” (Calculations of business value over time).
- Produce and analyze key performance indicators.
- Compile report packages for the sales department, partners, the management group, the board, and other stakeholders.
- Budget and forecasting primarily for sales, but also participating in the work and presentation of certain other parts.
- Participate in and potentially lead changes within business development.
- Participate in creating and developing processes and routines for the department.
- Perform cost calculations for quotes.
- Participate in the annual production of ORSA. (Own Risk and Solvency Assessment for Finansinspektionen)
