Source and purchase materials, equipment, tools and services required for company operations.
Identify and evaluate suppliers based on pricing, quality and delivery schedules.
Request quotations, compare prices and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive rates.
Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) and maintain accurate procurement records.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Work closely with operations and project teams to understand purchasing requirements.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment of essential supplies.
Resolve procurement issues, including delivery delays, incorrect orders and quality concerns.
Maintain good relationships with existing suppliers and identify potential new vendors.
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
Support cost-saving initiatives and other procurement-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
Candidate must have at least 2–3 years of procurement or purchasing experience, preferably in the construction, environmental services, facilities management or related industries.
Good negotiation, communication and organisational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Able to work independently and manage multiple purchasing requests.
