Accounts Payable Specialist / Purchase Ledger Clerk Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire Contract: Temporary, 3 to 6 months Salary: £14 - £17 per hour depending on experience, PAYE Start Date: Immediate Blusource Recruitment is working with a well-established, multifaceted business based just outside Lincoln to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for an initial 3 to 6 month temporary assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk, Accounts Payable Assistant, AP Clerk or Purchase Ledger Assistant who enjoys working in a busy finance environment and can quickly become a valuable member of an established team. The business is entering one of its busiest periods of the year and requires someone confident in managing accounts payable responsibilities independently, supporting the wider finance function and assisting with external audit requirements. The Role As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for: Supporting the day-to-day accounts payable and purchase ledger function.

Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.

Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies.

Responding to supplier queries and liaising with internal departments.

Supporting payment processes and maintaining accurate financial records.

Assisting with external audit requests and providing supporting documentation.

Helping the finance team manage increased workloads during a particularly busy period.

About You We are keen to speak with experienced Accounts Payable Clerks, Purchase Ledger Clerks, AP Specialists, Accounts Assistants, Finance Assistants, Purchase Ledger Administrators and Accounts Payable Officers who have: Substantial hands-on accounts payable or purchase ledger experience.

The confidence to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.

A positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to support colleagues.

Immediate or short-notice availability.
