QA Leader

We are looking for a QA Leader who combines technical experience with a natural predisposition for leading a team. You will be responsible for the quality of implemented projects, the development of processes and automation frameworks, and providing substantive support to a 4-person team of testers. This is a role for someone who likes to work hands-on, but can simultaneously set direction, develop others, and build QA standards from scratch. An important element of the position will also be cooperation with foreign clients and the use of modern tools, including AI-based solutions, in daily QA work. What will you be working on?

1. Custom iGaming platforms ➡️ We build solutions for clients who go beyond the limitations of white-label and turnkey models. We create platforms with an emphasis on product differentiators: community, multiplayer, engaging events, tournaments, and user experience personalization.
2. Platform implementations for B2B clients ➡️ We handle the development and implementation of platforms for business clients, acting close to the product, client requirements, and real market needs.
3. AI-first platform framework ➡️ We are creating a platform framework from scratch, which is intended to enable fast, secure, and repeatable building and development of iGaming platforms. We want AI-first not to be a marketing slogan, but a real way of accelerating development, standardizing solutions, and limiting technical risk.

Daily tasks

• Management and substantive support of a 4-person team of testers – planning work, setting goals, conducting code review, and ensuring team development.
• Defining, implementing, and optimizing testing processes and quality standards in custom-made projects.
• Creating, developing, and maintaining modern test automation frameworks based on Playwright.
• Utilizing AI-supported tools (e.g., Codex) to create and maintain tests and improve the team's daily work.
• Testing REST API, verifying data in SQL databases, and overseeing the stability of test environments.
• Selecting appropriate QA tools and solutions tailored to the specifics of the project and individual client requirements.
• Close cooperation with the CTO, developers, and Project Managers to ensure the highest quality of delivered software.
• Direct contact with clients from all over the world – establishing requirements, discussing test strategies, and reporting quality.
• Active participation in estimation processes, sprint planning, retrospectives, and building a Quality First culture in the organization.
• Combining the role of a leader with practical action – designing solutions, writing test code, and providing technical support to the team in solving problems.

Requirements

Technical requirements Minimum 4 years of experience in QA as a Lead, or minimum 6 years of experience as a Senior QA, combined with formal or informal team leadership. Very good, practical knowledge of Playwright and experience in its use in commercial projects. Practical experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks from scratch. Ability to work with relational databases and knowledge of SQL. Experience in API testing - e.g., using Postman, REST Assured, or dedicated libraries. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and DOM in the context of creating stable UI selectors. Knowledge of Docker and proficiency in working with test environments. Very good knowledge of GIT. Experience in integrating automated tests with CI/CD processes. Soft skills and other requirements: Natural predisposition for leadership - the ability to motivate a team, build a good atmosphere, provide constructive feedback, and share knowledge. Very good communication skills and maturity in relationships with business clients. Independence, proactivity, and a sense of responsibility for the final quality of the product. Ability to make decisions and take responsibility for the QA area. English language at a minimum B2 level, allowing for free communication with clients and working with documentation. Readiness for hybrid work - minimum 2 days a week in the office in Wrocław.
