Fullstack Developer (Node.js / React / Next.js / NestJS)

We are looking for a Fullstack Developer who moves freely in the frontend and backend areas and can independently deliver end-to-end functionalities.

We are looking for a person who understands architecture, makes conscious technical decisions, and cares about code quality, testability, and performance. Good cooperation with QA, DevOps, and the development team is also important to us. What will you be working on?

1. Custom iGaming platforms ➡️ We build solutions for clients who go beyond the limitations of white-label and turnkey models. We create platforms with an emphasis on product differentiators: community, multiplayer, engaging events, tournaments, and user experience personalization.
2. Platform implementations for B2B clients ➡️ We handle the development and implementation of platforms for business clients, working closely with the product, client requirements, and real market needs.
3. AI-first platform framework ➡️ We are creating a platform framework from scratch, which is intended to enable fast, secure, and repeatable building and development of iGaming platforms. We want AI-first to be not just a marketing slogan, but a real way to accelerate development, standardize solutions, and limit technical risk.

Daily tasks

• Independently delivering end-to-end functionalities (frontend + backend) – from the implementation stage to production deployment.
• Developing the frontend layer based on React and Next.js using, among others, Server Components, App Router, SSR, streaming, and caching optimization.
• Designing and creating a scalable backend in Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS and building REST APIs documented in OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Working with relational databases (PostgreSQL/SQL) using modern ORMs (Prisma, Drizzle, TypeORM).
• Managing application state and designing integrations using tools such as TanStack Query, Redux Toolkit, or Zustand.
• Creating and maintaining automated tests (unit, integration, E2E) using Vitest, Jest, Testing Library, and Playwright.
• Designing and handling asynchronous processes and event-driven architecture using RabbitMQ (queues, routing, dead-letter queues).
• Ensuring high performance, security (including OAuth2, JWT), code quality, and basic observability areas (logs, metrics, tracing).
• Active participation in code review, breaking down complex tasks into smaller components, and proposing architectural improvements.
• Diagnosing and solving problems in production environments in cooperation with QA and DevOps teams.
• Utilizing AI-assisted development tools to accelerate and improve daily programming work.

Requirements

We are looking for a person who: Ability to move freely within existing code and architecture. Proactivity - not just executing tasks, but also noticing problems and proposing improvements. Ability to break down larger functionalities into smaller, sensibly planned tasks. Attention to quality and responsibility for the solution from implementation to production operation. Ability to participate constructively in code review and share knowledge. Good cooperation with Developers, QA, DevOps, and Project Manager. Pragmatic approach to problem-solving and the ability to choose the right solution for a specific problem. English language at a minimum B2 level, allowing for free communication with clients and working with documentation. Readiness for hybrid work - minimum 2 days a week in the office in Wrocław.

Technical competencies required for this position: Minimum 3 years of commercial experience involving independent creation and development of applications on both the frontend and backend sides. Very good knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript. Practical experience with Node.js, NestJS, React, and Next.js. Good understanding of event loop, asynchronicity, and I/O. Experience in designing and developing REST API and knowledge of OpenAPI / Swagger. Knowledge of SQL, preferably PostgreSQL/MySQL, and experience with ORM, e.g., Prisma, Drizzle, or TypeORM. Knowledge of server/client state management, e.g., TanStack Query, Redux Toolkit, or Zustand. Experience in unit, integration, and E2E tests and knowledge of tools such as Vitest/Jest, Testing Library, and Playwright. Ability to diagnose performance problems and knowledge of caching. Basic knowledge of web application and API security, including OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, or similar mechanisms. Basic knowledge of observability - logs, metrics, and tracing. Very good knowledge of Git and experience in code review. Basic knowledge of Docker and CI/CD. Experience with monorepo and Turborepo. Practical knowledge of queuing systems, in particular RabbitMQ, and basic understanding of event-driven architecture. Experience with production code and solving problems in production. Ability to write readable, testable, and maintainable code. Experience with AI-assisted development.
