Your Responsibilities
- Operating an excavator to move, load, and sort scrap metal
- Sorting different types of iron and metal
- Loading and moving large quantities of scrap materials
- Cutting scrap iron as part of the recycling process
- Assisting with the safe handling of potentially harmful materials
- Performing general scrap yard and recycling tasks
- Maintaining a safe and organized working environment
Your Profile
- Experience operating excavators – required
- Experience from scrap yards, recycling, construction, or similar industrial environments is an advantage
- Comfortable handling large and heavy metal materials
- Practical and able to perform physically demanding work
- Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Excavator operator certificate is not required
