Investment Analyst – Fundamental Research & AI

Your tasks

BLUE VENTURES is seeking an experienced, analytical, and results-driven Investment Analyst to evaluate Egyptian listed companies, identify investment opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to the CIO and trading team.

• Conduct fundamental analysis of EGX-listed companies, including financial performance, valuations, profitability, and market positioning.
• Screen and rank investment opportunities based on potential returns, risks, and market conditions.
• Evaluate financial statements, earnings reports, company disclosures, and broker research.
• Develop clear investment recommendations, including valuation ranges, key catalysts, and downside risks.
• Monitor market developments and update investment rankings and recommendations accordingly.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers and traders to support investment decisions.
• Use AI tools to improve investment research, financial analysis, company comparisons, and reporting.
• Verify research findings, financial assumptions, and AI-generated insights to ensure accuracy.

Requirements

The ideal candidate combines strong fundamental research skills, sound investment judgment, and practical experience using AI tools to enhance research quality and efficiency.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in equity research, investment analysis, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of the Egyptian Stock Exchange (EGX) and Egyptian financial markets.
• Proven experience in fundamental analysis, financial statement evaluation, and equity valuation.
• Strong analytical thinking, investment judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Practical experience using AI tools for investment research and analysis is essential.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial research platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
• CFA qualification or progress toward CFA is an advantage.
