Job Description: Your tasks

• Responsibility for costs, deadlines, and quality for a defined procurement area
• Coordination, controlling, and continuous development of the assigned purchasing areas and their employees
• Functional and disciplinary leadership of a multi-member purchasing team as well as member of the Purchasing management team
• Responsibility as the first escalation instance for the subordinate purchasing areas to ensure smooth purchasing and procurement processes
• Participation in the optimization of existing procurement concepts and material group strategies
• Active design opportunities in the further digitalization of existing purchasing processes
• Direct reporting line to the Head of Purchasing

Your profile

• Completed degree in business administration or engineering (e.g., with a focus on Purchasing, Supply-Chain-Management, Procurement) or comparable commercial / technical training with corresponding professional experience
• International purchasing experience, preferably in a metal or plastic processing production company
• Leadership experience of small, dynamic teams, preferably in purchasing
• Strong technical understanding
• Business fluent English skills
• Ideally basic knowledge in SAP (Module MM)
• Leadership and communication strength with an empathetic team orientation
• Constructive, structured, and success-oriented way of working
