*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance and loss prevention, ensuring that all security protocols are followed effectively.

*Duties*

• Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action as necessary.
• Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, equipment, and access points to ensure security measures are in place.
• Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to address security concerns or incidents.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting visitors and employees while enforcing security policies.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures to promote a secure working environment.

*Skills*

• Proficient in surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
• Familiarity with law enforcement protocols and emergency response procedures is highly desirable.
• Experience with CCTV systems and monitoring equipment is a plus.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during shifts.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively report incidents and interact with others.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure situations.

*Licence/Certification:*

• First Aid Certification
• Ontario Security Guard License
• Must have working cellphone with unlimited or high data plan
• Must have transportation to and from work.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
