Project Manager Development Plastic Injection Molding

The company BKW Kunststoff GmbH is a manufacturer of plastic parts and systems for international customers in various industrial sectors such as automotive, food, electrical, or toys.

Since 2009, we have been producing plastic parts with increased added value using multi-component processes at our location in Selb in Upper Franconia, with approximately 40 injection molding machines in the range of 40 – 750 tons of clamping force.

With approximately 60 employees, we produce demanding plastic components that our customers appreciate globally.

Just as international as our customers, our suppliers are also international, and you will be responsible for managing them.

As we are undergoing steady growth, we are looking for a new colleague to join our team as a Project Manager Development Plastic Injection Molding at the earliest possible date.

Your Tasks

• Independent processing of new projects in the field of automated manufacturing for precise plastic parts for automotive, F&B, and leisure needs
• Project planning and procurement of injection molding tools from concept development to handover to series production
• Interface to the customer throughout the entire project phase
• Systematic planning of all relevant project phases in coordination with customers as well as participation in project meetings
• Support for the management in day-to-day business and the preparation of offers
• Collaboration in research and development projects with universities and partners from the private sector

Our Requirements

• Completed vocational training in the field of plastic injection molding or toolmaking with further training as a Meister, Techniker, or a related degree
• Professional experience in a technical function
• Knowledge in the field of project management
• Confident handling of interdisciplinary teams
• Assertiveness
• Strong and systematic communication skills
• Good IT skills (especially Office)
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Knowledge in the field of injection molding and automation technology
• Willingness to travel internationally
