Employability Executive [Job Coach]

Job Description – Employability Executive [Job Coach] Lakeside Area, contract The Executive will support the job matching of persons with special needs into suitable job roles. He/She will work closely with key stakeholders such as employers, co-workers, caregivers, support networks, to identify workplace requirements and oversee placement of trainees into related job roles. He/She will work with the employers to identify required training and accommodation at the workplace for long term continued employment of these trainees. He/She provides job coaching support for a specified duration after the trainees are placed into jobs. Job Responsibilities Develop effective job coaching and employment plans

Source and secure relevant training opportunities Provide support during training

Assist trainees to discover and overcome their personal barriers and set goals

Discover trainees’ strengths and motivation, work with them to develop their skills

Guide trainees in learning to complete job tasks

Conduct job-readiness assessment Profile trainees to employers for suitable job roles

Conduct job site analysis to assess suitability

Advise on workplace accommodations for these trainees

Provide post-placement job support Design and implement job support strategies to sustain employment

Educate, share best practices and establish rapport with the employers, supervisors/co-workers

Document job support logs

Requirements Preferably experience in working with persons with special needs

Strong people management and coaching skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Good organizational and time management skills

Experience in managing stakeholders to build relationships and drive collaboration.
