Community & Partnerships Lead — Tech Ember Fest (Lagos)

2–3 Month Contract 200k-300k

Tech Ember Fest is bringing Lagos tech people together for something different a break from the usual conference format built around real connection, good food, games, music, and a genuinely good time. We're looking for a Community & Partnerships Lead to help us reach the developers, designers, product people, founders, creators, and students who should be in the room.

This isn't a traditional corporate partnerships role. We need someone already plugged into the Lagos tech community not someone learning it from scratch.

What you'll do:

• Connect Tech Ember Fest with communities, creators, and organizers across the Lagos tech ecosystem
• Build genuine relationships that bring the right people to the event
• Reach out to community leads and creators with confidence and follow-through
• Help promote the event across your networks and platforms

You should have:

• Genuine connections within Lagos tech communities
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience organizing, promoting, or supporting events or communities
• A solid understanding of the Lagos tech ecosystem
• Confidence reaching out to community organizers and creators
• Good follow-through and organization
• An active presence on at least one social platform

Extra points if you:

• Create tech-related content
• Run or help manage a tech community
• Have organized meetups or events
• Are active on X, LinkedIn, Instagram, or TikTok
• Have an existing audience
• Know developers, designers, founders, product people, or students across Lagos
