Framework Conditions

For large-scale projects of a well-known system integrator in the USA, we are looking for two experienced Assembly Managers (m/f/d) who will ideally be responsible for the construction sites on-site for the entire planned project duration of initially two years.

The assignment can take place in two models:

1. Relocation to the USA, or
2. Residence in Germany with regular international assignments:

A regular rhythm of being on-site in the USA and traveling back home to Germany is to be expected.

During the entire secondment process, you will receive comprehensive support from BITO.

Planned project start: February 2026

Depending on your professional qualifications and previous experience, an appropriate induction and orientation phase will be provided beforehand. After the assignment within the scope of the current projects, a potential takeover by our subsidiary in the USA is possible.

Involvement of family members

Should the involvement or travel of family members be relevant, we are happy to clarify these topics in an individual conversation. In principle, this possibility exists.

Your main tasks are:

• You are responsible for the timely assembly of complex racking systems
• You coordinate and supervise subcontractors, communicate with customers, interfacing trades on the construction site, as well as with internal BITO interfaces such as project management, logistics, and the technical office
• You take over the disciplinary and technical management of external assembly teams and perform the responsible site management on-site, combined with extensive travel activities domestically and abroad
• You create and review measurement protocols as well as assembly progress reports
• You audit, train, and qualify assembly partners and look for further assembly partners domestically and abroad
• You process complaints, develop solution proposals, and observe racking systems to develop optimization suggestions

We expect from you:

• You have completed technician training or a degree in the field of engineering, alternatively technical training with several years of relevant professional experience
• Ideally, you have a background in mechanical engineering or civil engineering
• You bring at least three years of experience in a comparable field of activity, especially in the supervision of construction sites and the assembly of high-bay warehouses
• You are proficient in the English language, both written and spoken
