L&D Regulator Manager

L&D Regulator Manager Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE

We are currently recruiting for a Group L&D Regulatory Manager to take ownership of regulatory training and compliance across the business.

This is a key role within the organisation, responsible for ensuring employees receive the required regulatory training while maintaining full compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.

The Role

As Group L&D Regulatory Manager, you will have direct responsibility for the company's regulatory training requirements, including:

• CPC, First Aid, ADR and Fork-Lift training.
• Managing external training providers and regulatory audits.
• Liaising with regulatory bodies including DVSA and Qualifications Scotland.
• Developing and writing training programmes from start to finish.
• Managing the application and approval process with relevant governing bodies.
• Ensuring all training programmes meet current legislative and regulatory requirements.
• Monitoring training compliance and identifying areas for improvement.
• Providing direct line management and day-to-day supervision of the L&D Administration team.
• Maintaining accurate training records and ensuring all regulatory requirements are met across the business.

About You

We are looking for an experienced L&D, Training, Compliance or Regulatory professional with a strong background within the logistics and transport industry.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience managing regulatory training within logistics, transport or a related environment.
• Strong knowledge of transport-related training and compliance requirements.
• Experience working with regulatory bodies and external training providers.
• Experience designing and implementing training programmes.
• Strong understanding of legislative and compliance requirements.
• Previous line management experience.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

You must have PTTLs or Level 3 Awards in education and training certification The following would be highly advantageous:

• Valid ADR Training Certificate.
• JAUPT Centre Instructor credential.
• Transport Manager CPC.
• HGV licence.
