Mission: To act strategically in risk management, internal audit, and BIOTROP controls, developing and improving methodologies, policies, and processes that contribute to the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks, the strengthening of governance, and the continuous improvement of processes. To act strategically and independently in the assessment of internal processes and controls, supporting the Board and leadership in decision-making, in the prevention and mitigation of risks, and in the evolution of the Company's control maturity, in Brazil and Abroad.Responsibilities and dutiesMain responsibilities:Conduct and develop Risk Management and Internal Audit, establishing methodologies, policies, procedures, and controls, aligned with market best practices.Develop and execute the Annual Audit Plan based on risks, assessing processes, internal controls, operational, financial, compliance, and technology risks in Brazil and Abroad.Map and assess risks, processes, and internal controls, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities, proposing actions for risk mitigation and strengthening governance.Prepare audit reports and management reports for the Board and shareholders, presenting risks, results, recommendations, and control evolution.Follow up on action plans, monitoring deadlines, implementation, and effectiveness of the measures defined by the areas.Support senior leadership on themes of risk management, internal controls, governance, Compliance, and strategic projects.Promote the culture of risks and controls, conducting training and supporting areas in the identification and management of their risks.Act as a focal point with external audit and regulatory bodies, following up on recommendations and ensuring the integration of work.Monitor relevant legislation and regulations, assessing their impacts on the Company's processes and controls.Manage the area's budget, including consultancies, tools, systems, and other necessary resources.Act with ethics, independence, confidentiality, and objectivity, ensuring the quality and credibility of audit work.Among other activities related to the area.Requirements and qualificationsTo participate you need:Technical competencies:Higher education in Administration, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related areas.Post-graduation or MBA in Audit, Risk Management, Internal Controls, Compliance, Corporate Governance, or related areas will be considered a differentiator.Office Suite Intermediate LevelEnglish fluent (reading, writing, and conversation) and Spanish desirable.Office Suite, with mastery of Excel and PowerPoint.Knowledge of data analysis and BI tools.Availability to travel.IIA/IPPF standards and principles.Knowledge of legislation and regulations applicable to the business.Knowledge of Dynamics 365.Solid experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management, Internal Controls, Compliance, or Governance.Experience in the preparation and execution of risk-based audits.Experience with process mapping, risk identification, and control assessment.Experience in preparing executive reports and presenting results to leadership.Experience in complex corporate environments and/or companies with international operations will be considered a differentiator.Trainings: International Standards for Internal Auditing – IIA / IPPF; COSO – Internal Controls; COSO ERM – Enterprise Risk Management; Risk-Based Auditing; Enterprise Risk Management – ERM; Compliance and Corporate Governance; Audit of processes and controls.Behavioral competencies:Collaboration and Ownership SenseWell-being Persuasion Emotional Intelligence People Management and Self-Management Customer FirstExecution Passion for Sustainability Sense of UrgencyEfficiency and ExcellenceAdditional informationBenefits:Food voucherMeal on siteFree parkingTransportation voucherHealth insuranceDental insurance Child food allowancePPRPrivate Pension
