Installation Automation Technician (M/F)
Job Description:
The Automation Technician installs, programs, adjusts, and troubleshoots automated equipment at operational sites. They may also be required to program sites under construction, in compliance with standards. Their task also includes understanding the origin of malfunctions and determining the actions to be taken to restore the automation to working order as quickly as possible.
Programming & modernization of installations***Modify and adapt PLC programs according to the needs of modernization projects
- Participate in program validation tests and electromechanical trials, remotely or on-site
- Adjust parameters and guarantee operational compliance after intervention
After-Sales Service (SAV)***Intervene in the troubleshooting of automated systems: PLCs, supervision, communication networks, visualization.
- Support SAV teams in the diagnosis and adjustment of equipment (supervision, drives, process parameters, remote access, etc.) Analyze malfunctions and implement appropriate solutions
Programming of new sites***Develop program structures from P&IDs and electrical diagrams
- Test programs during the manufacturing of control cabinets
- Participate in electromechanical trials during commissioning
- Adjust and optimize programs until the final validation of the installation
Continuous improvement & activity monitoring***Ensure the monitoring of your schedule and the reporting of your interventions
- Record time spent, protocols, and technical reports
- Participate in technical meetings in France and with the parent company in Germany
- Contribute to the improvement of standards and the development of new automated solutions
Profile Description:
Technical Skills***Minimum Bachelor's degree (Bac+3) in electrotechnics, automation, or an equivalent field
- Electrical certifications
- Good mastery of reading electrical plans and technical diagrams
- Knowledge of electromechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and industrial IT
- Proficiency in English

- Ability to diagnose, understand, and resolve technical issues
- Good interpersonal skills and ease of communication with different stakeholders
