Beauty Trainer

Role summary

The Beauty Trainer develops the skills of therapists and consultants across the outlets. The role ensures treatments are performed consistently, safely and to the company’s service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct induction and hands-on training for new therapists in facial, body and hair removal treatments.
• Demonstrate treatment steps, equipment use, product knowledge, hygiene practices, consultation and aftercare.
• Observe therapists at work, assess their practical skills and provide specific coaching.
• Create and update treatment protocols, training materials, checklists and competency assessments.
• Train consultants and therapists to explain treatments clearly, identify suitable client needs and recommend care without hard selling.
• Coach staff on customer experience, communication, handling concerns and professional grooming.
• Support the launch of new treatments by training staff before they offer them to clients.
• Visit outlets regularly to check treatment quality, identify training gaps and follow up on improvement plans.
• Maintain training records and report staff progress to management.
• Work with outlet managers to improve service quality, client satisfaction and team performance.

Suggested requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on beauty or aesthetic treatment experience, including facial and body treatments.
• Experience training or supervising therapists.
• Strong practical skills, patience and the ability to give clear, constructive feedback.
• Relevant beauty qualifications such as ITEC, CIBTAC, CIDESCO or WSQ are useful.
• Willingness to travel between outlets.
