Financial Accountant (m/f/d)

Area of responsibility:

• Consolidation: You carry out the consolidation of our complex corporate group and manage the relevant systems.
• Financial Statements: You play a decisive role in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB and ensure high quality as well as timely implementation.
• Accounting: You independently undertake accounting activities in the general and subsidiary ledgers, perform G/L postings and reconciliations, and are responsible for intercompany support and settlement. You also prepare VAT advance notifications.
• Business Partnering: You are the contact person for auditors and tax consultants.
• Reporting & Collaboration: You support reporting and work closely with Business and Corporate Controlling.
• Fit for the Future: You help shape projects in Corporate Accounting and specifically develop existing processes further.

Qualification:

• Education: You have successfully completed commercial vocational training as well as further training as a Bilanzbuchhalter.
• Professional Experience: You bring several years of sound experience in finance and accounting, ideally from an industrial company.
• Hard Skills: You have sound knowledge in consolidation and are familiar with dealing with partnerships (Personengesellschaften). Furthermore, you possess comprehensive knowledge in the area of SAP FI, consolidation software, and common MS Office applications, as well as an affinity for IT.
• Soft Skills: You work independently and reliably, while also convincing as a team player and maintaining an overview even in demanding situations. Good written and spoken English skills round off your profile.
