Expert Superconducting Systems (m/f/d)
Bilfinger Nuclear & Energy Transition GmbH with approx. 800 employees is a company of Bilfinger SE. The headquarters is in Oberhausen, with other locations in Dortmund, Osterode, and Würzburg. Our core competencies are the service, construction, and digital networking of components and systems for the operation of energy and industrial plants with high process & material requirements. We support our customers in the areas of energy, oil & gas, petrochemistry, and nuclear. We advise, plan, develop, and undertake project management for the construction or modernization of plants - always with a special focus on sustainability and efficiency! We manufacture components such as pipelines, boiler, or machine components in our own production facilities, assemble them, and commission the plants. Our service accompanies the plant throughout its entire life cycle.
Your Tasks
Sizing, calculation, and design of assemblies and systems for superconductivity, cryotechnics, and vacuum technology Support of manufacturing, commissioning, and the testing phase Procurement of subsystems, components, and tools Preparation of documentation and project documents Execution of complex international high-tech projects within the project team Reporting to project and department management Technical coordination and communication with customers, project partners, and suppliers
Your Profile
completed technical degree, ideally in physics, process engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or comparable at least 10 years of professional experience experience in the field of superconductivity, cryo- and vacuum technology ideally experience in the field of magnet technology confident handling of simulation software high analytical skills and affinity for technology experience in project management good written and spoken English skills strong communication skills, exemplary commitment, willingness to travel, high flexibility, resilience, and motivation, as well as strong social competence and team spirit
