Service Technician, AGCO Suomi

AGCO Suomi Oy is responsible for the sale and service of Valtra and Fendt tractors as well as spare parts in Finland and is part of the AGCO corporation, which is one of the world's largest manufacturers of agricultural machinery. Sampo-Rosenlew combine harvesters are also part of AGCO Suomi's product range. AGCO Suomi employs over 160 tractor and spare parts salespeople, service mechanics, and marketing and product training professionals across more than 20 locations in Finland.

We are looking for a SERVICE TECHNICIAN for AGCO Suomi in Joensuu. As a Service Technician at AGCO Suomi, you will work with the maintenance, repairs, and fault diagnostics of Valtra and Fendt tractors as well as other agricultural machinery. Your work includes, among other things, periodic maintenance, mechanical repair work, troubleshooting electrical faults, and equipping new machines. The work is performed mainly in the service workshop, and as your skills grow, tasks will also include service and repair visits at customer sites. You will be oriented into the role with the support of more experienced technicians, and responsibility for your own tasks will gradually increase with experience. The job is a full-time weekday day job.

Good readiness to succeed in the role is provided by previous experience, for example, in maintenance and repair tasks for heavy equipment, agricultural machinery, construction machinery, or vehicles. We value practical technical expertise, a proactive work attitude, and an interest in machines and technology. We also hope for a customer service-oriented attitude, as the work involves regular interaction with customers. Basic English skills are required for reading technical materials. Knowledge of agricultural machinery or an agricultural background is considered a clear advantage, but most important is the desire to learn new things and develop as a professional in the field.
