We are looking for customer advisors for Posti's corporate and private customer service
As a customer advisor, you help our customers in all situations where they need our assistance. You serve customers through several channels, such as telephone (incoming and outgoing calls), e-mail, and chat, where the telephone is your most important work tool. Your goal is to create excellent customer encounters by mapping customer needs and offering the best solutions using your strong communication and problem-solving skills.
The work is a fast-paced and goal-oriented job within customer service and contact centers. During a workday, you encounter many different customer situations, and not all follow a ready-made script. You have the ability to quickly absorb new information, search effectively for information from several different sources, and can make decisions even when a ready-made answer is not available. The quality of customer service, efficiency, and the customer experience are closely monitored through various metrics. Therefore, this role is suitable for you who thrive in goal-oriented work, want to continuously develop your competence, and can combine high service quality with an efficient way of working.
This is an excellent opportunity for you who are passionate about customer service, enjoy varied workdays, and are enthusiastic and courageous when meeting different people and situations. To succeed in the role, you need to be stress-tolerant, have good resilience, and be able to switch quickly between different situations. As a counterbalance, you get the opportunity to develop into a versatile customer service employee in an environment where learning is a natural part of everyday life. We train and support you in all areas to create world-class customer encounters.
We are looking for several customer advisors for our upcoming Christmas season on a temporary basis. The employment begins on October 19, 2026, and lasts until December 31, 2026.
The position is full-time (37.5 hours per week). Customer service is open every day of the week, including weekends, between 06:00 and 20:00. During the autumn and the upcoming Christmas season, work shifts will mainly be scheduled on weekdays between 08:00 and 20:00 and on Saturdays between 08:00 and 16:00. However, we assume that you can work within the customer service's entire opening time. Our office is located in Ilmala in Helsinki with good communication connections.
The salary for the position is €13.78/hour.
Who are we looking for?
You may be the person we are looking for if you have a genuine sense of service and previous experience in customer service in several different service channels, especially via telephone. Helping customers is something you truly enjoy, and you maintain your professional service attitude even in challenging situations.
In the role of customer advisor, you work in several different systems simultaneously. Therefore, we would like you to be accustomed to using different IT systems, digital services, and applications. You learn both new systems and new work areas quickly, are skilled at searching for information from different sources, and can apply the information you find in customer encounters. Additionally, we expect you to have an independent and proactive way of working, good stress tolerance, and the ability to make quick decisions when the situation requires it.
To succeed in the role, you need to have good knowledge of Finnish and English. Knowledge of Swedish is seen as a clear advantage.
