Area Sales Manager (m/f/d) Pig - Europe/Africa Region

What is your task?

• Taking over and developing several countries in Europe and Africa as a sales territory, as well as target and budget control and personnel responsibility
• Sale of modern equipment and systems for pig farming, including customer support and negotiation up to the conclusion of the contract
• Acquisition of new customers as well as further development of existing customers, trade fair visits, and exploitation of new market potentials
• Conducting market and competitor analyses as well as deriving actionable sales strategies
• Internal contact person and link to Customer Service and sales back office for coordination and project handover

What do you bring to the position?

• Completed studies or training in an agricultural or commercial environment
• Demonstrable experience in the sale of agricultural capital goods (ideal: pig sector)
• Confidence in customer appointments and negotiations – even in demanding situations
• Very good English for international coordination and contract discussions (other languages advantageous)
• High level of initiative as well as willingness to travel
