SITE ENGINEER / PROJECT ENGINEER

Job Description

We are looking for a Site Engineer / Project Engineer to support our engineering and construction projects in Singapore. The successful candidate will be involved in site operations, project coordination, work progress monitoring, manpower coordination, client coordination and project documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support day-to-day site and project activities.
• Assist in planning, coordinating and executing engineering and construction works.
• Monitor site work progress and ensure activities are completed according to project requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, subcontractors and internal project teams.
• Assist with manpower planning, deployment and coordination.
• Review engineering drawings and provide technical support for site activities.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor work activities.
• Prepare and maintain project reports, records, documentation and progress updates.
• Assist with quantity measurement and project-related documentation.
• Follow up on outstanding works and coordinate with relevant parties for timely completion.
• Support project planning and implementation.
• Use AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint for engineering and project-related activities.
• Ensure site activities comply with applicable safety requirements and company procedures.
• Perform other site and project engineering duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in site engineering, project engineering, construction or a related field.
• Experience in site operations and project coordination.
• Knowledge of construction activities, project execution and manpower coordination.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong coordination and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a project team.
• Willing to work at project sites in Singapore.
• Able to workday or night shifts depending on project requirements.
• Willing to work 6 days per week.
• Knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health requirements in the construction industry will be an advantage.
