Tech Support Officer |12-Month Contract| $2,760–$3,340 per month

Support the stabilisation and improvement of a case management system within a public-sector environment.

You will help manage user queries, coordinate with IT teams and business stakeholders, support system enhancements, and improve operational workflows. The role also involves process mapping, requirements gathering, user acceptance testing, documentation and data governance support.

You will also assist with designing and implementing operations technology solutions to reduce manual work and improve process consistency.

Key Responsibilities

• Triage and coordinate incoming system queries, issues and feedback.
• Work with IT staff, project managers and end users to resolve issues and improve system usage.
• Support requirements gathering, UAT, verification and migration activities.
• Review workflows and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Assist with designing, prototyping and implementing operations technology solutions.
• Maintain process documentation, user guides and standard operating procedures.
• Support data governance, data integrity and project tracking.
• Help with the handover of processes and institutional knowledge to the permanent team.

Requirements

• Good communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Analytical and problem-solving ability, with an interest in process improvement and operations technology.
• Experience in project coordination, project management methodologies or process mapping.
• Comfortable working with IT teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Resilient, adaptable and able to work in a changing environment.
• Qualifications in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Office Management, Computer Science or a related field are useful.
• Candidates with qualifications from N-Level, O-Level, A-Level, Nitec, Higher Nitec, Diploma or Degree level may be considered, depending on relevant experience.
