Your tasks

A public-sector audit assignment is seeking an experienced Lead Auditor to coordinate audit work, guide audit pairs and deliver clear, evidence-based findings.

You will supervise audit activities, review supporting evidence and consolidate reports for review. The work includes testing compliance with regulatory, licensing and contractual requirements; conducting process walkthroughs, document and transaction reviews, interviews and site observations; and documenting evidence using an approved audit checklist. You will also verify selected corrective actions and prepare complete working papers, factual observations and reports.

Requirements

Applicants should have relevant audit, compliance or assurance experience and a minimum diploma or equivalent relevant qualification. A recognised credential such as CIA, CISA, ISO Lead Auditor certification, or an equivalent relevant audit or assurance credential is required. Strong working-paper review, report-writing, stakeholder-management and team-supervision skills are important. Experience leading or supervising audit assignments is preferred. Public-sector, regulatory, operational or multi-site audit experience is advantageous.
