Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (AWS) | 12 month contract |

Key Responsibilities Manage and support cloud infrastructure architecture, resource planning and system performance.

Operate and improve AWS cloud platforms, infrastructure services and DevOps automation.

Implement observability practices covering logging, monitoring, tracing and alerting.

Support infrastructure resilience, including fault tolerance, disaster recovery, redundancy and failover testing.

Define and manage infrastructure objectives such as RTO, RPO and service availability.

Lead infrastructure projects and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.

Monitor vendor performance against KPIs and SLAs.

Support governance processes and continuous improvement of cloud operations.

Requirements Minimum  7 years of relevant experience  in cloud infrastructure management.

Hands-on experience with  AWS cloud platforms .

AWS cloud technology certification is required.

Azure certification will be an advantage.

Experience in infrastructure management, DevOps, observability or automation is preferred.

Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder-management skills.

Proactive, committed and able to work effectively with technical teams and vendors.

Working Hours Monday to Thursday: 8:30am–6:00pm, including a 1-hour lunch break.

Friday: 8:30am–5:30pm, including a 1-hour lunch break.

No service required on weekend or gazetted public holiday

Contract duration:  12 months Expected start date:  1 December 2026
