Client Incentive Operations Senior Financial Analyst
About the Role Join the Client Incentive Operations team supporting client incentive programmes across the Asia Pacific region. You will help ensure that incentive agreements are accurately accounted for, properly controlled and aligned with US GAAP, local tax requirements and internal policies . This role is suited to an experienced finance professional who combines accounting knowledge with strong analytical, process-improvement and stakeholder-management skills. You will work closely with Finance, Sales, Legal, Compliance and technology teams to improve the quality, efficiency and control of incentive operations. Key Responsibilities Manage accounting and reporting for client incentive agreements.
Review commercial contracts and determine the appropriate financial treatment.
Monitor incentive performance, accruals, journal entries and reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with US GAAP , internal accounting policies and local tax requirements.
Analyse financial and operational data to support business decisions.
Identify process inefficiencies and redesign finance workflows.
Automate routine activities such as reporting, journal preparation and reconciliations.
Use tools such as Excel, Power BI and AI-enabled solutions to improve finance operations.
Lead or support system and process-enhancement initiatives, including ORMB improvements.
Partner with Finance, Sales, Legal and Compliance stakeholders across the region.
Apply Lean / Six Sigma or other structured problem-solving methods to improve quality, controls and turnaround time.
Communicate findings, recommendations and operational insights to senior stakeholders.
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline .
At least 8 years of finance, accounting or financial-operations experience .
Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, accounting controls and financial reporting .
Experience reviewing contracts and determining accounting treatment.
Experience with client incentives, rebates, commissions, revenue arrangements or other commercial agreements is preferred.
Experience in payments, banking, fintech or financial services is advantageous.
Proven experience in finance process improvement, automation or system implementation.
Strong Excel and data-analysis skills; experience with Power BI, AI tools or finance automation is preferred.
Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, accruals and management reporting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with high attention to detail.
Proven ability to manage projects and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
Lean / Six Sigma experience or certification is advantageous.
Proactive, accountable and comfortable working with urgency in a fast-paced environment.
