To expand our team, we are currently looking for a/an:

Technician (m/f/d) - Data Center for the location: Walldorf Reference number: 010726-5-WAL

Description:

• Assembly and disassembly of racks in the data center
• Installation and removal of servers, storage systems, switches, and other IT hardware
• Wiring and un-wiring of power, copper, and fiber optic connections according to documentation
• Processing of tickets according to customer specifications
• Implementation of installation work based on cabling and rack plans
• Documentation of all performed work in English in the customer systems

Requirements:

• Experience in the installation and removal of server, storage, and network hardware in a data center environment
• Good knowledge in handling copper and fiber optic cables (LWL) as well as in the cabling of IT infrastructures
• Ability to read and implement cabling and rack plans
• Basic knowledge of server, storage, and network technologies
• Good English skills for technical documentation and work instructions
• Careful, structured way of working as well as ideally a CompTIA certification
• Readiness to work in a 3-shift system, on weekends, and for on-call duty, as well as physical resilience
