Plastics Technician (m/f/d) - Reference Number: 060826-1-ERL for the location: Erlangen Reference Number: 060826-1-ERL

Description:

• Development support in the area of covers for Magnetresonanztomographie
• Carrying out incoming goods inspections regarding damage, dimensional accuracy, and surface quality
• Organization and independent execution of component tests in the materials laboratory
• Creation of components using Rapid Prototyping incl. subsequent post-processing
• Procurement of functional models
• Technical coordination with suppliers of plastic components
• Assembly of functional models and prototypes
• Preparation and execution of validation tests of plastic components
• Support and relief for the cover development team

Requirements:

• Completed technical training, e.g., as a Formenbauer, Werkzeugmechaniker, or Industriemechaniker, with further training to become a staatlich geprüfter Maschinenbautechniker, or a completed degree in the field of Maschinenbau or a comparable discipline
• Experience in the development of plastic components
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
• Independent, structured, and responsible way of working
• Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as enjoyment in collaborating with internal and external contacts
• Good written and spoken English skills
