RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer to design, develop, and maintain low-level software for microcontroller and processor-based systems. In this role, you will bridge the gap between hardware and software, handling everything from early board bring-up and driver development to system validation and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, write, and maintain low-level embedded code in C and C++ for ARM-based microcontrollers and processors.
• Develop low-level device drivers and software components for hardware peripherals (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, Ethernet, GPIO).
• Perform board bring-up, hardware validation, and hardware-software integration on newly fabricated boards.
• Identify and resolve firmware bugs using hardware debugging tools, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
• Design and execute unit tests, integration tests, and system-level validation. Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Partner with hardware, mechanical, manufacturing, and systems engineering teams across the product development lifecycle.
• Support production releases and resolve technical issues escalated by manufacturing, QA, or customers.
• Maintain clear technical specifications, design documents, and validation reports.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• 2 years of hands-on experience in embedded firmware development.
• Strong, practical command of C and C++
• Proven experience developing firmware on ARM-based microcontrollers/processors .
• Solid understanding of embedded architecture, memory management, interrupt handling, and device driver development.
• Hands-on experience with hardware debugging tools (JTAG, GDB, Trace32, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with Git version control, Agile methodologies, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems ( RTOS ) such as FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or ThreadX.
• Experience writing automation/test scripts using Python or Bash .
