Your Role

As our Senior Software Engineer, you will serve as the primary technical authority and go-to person for High-Level Control (HLC) within SECTRO. You will be responsible for maintaining an overall overview of the HLC tools, ensuring alignment across projects and products, and driving the evolution of our software platform. The role combines technical leadership, stakeholder management, roadmap development, and hands-on execution. You will be part of a global and cross-functional engineering setup, collaborating closely with software, automation, and system engineers, as well as external partners and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the technical focal point and subject matter expert for HLC solutions across the SECTRO product portfolio.

Maintain the overall overview of the HLC landscape, ensuring consistency, standardization, and scalability across projects.

Drive technical decision-making and architectural direction for HLC software solutions for SECTRO.

Contribute to defining and maintaining the SECTRO roadmap.

Translate business needs, project requirements, and technology opportunities into actionable development initiatives.

Lead the design, development, and implementation of High-Level Control software solutions.

Collaborate with external suppliers and technology partners to ensure seamless integration.

Support project teams with expert guidance throughout design, implementation, commissioning, and operational phases.

CI/CD using GitLab and Helm Charts

Git and GitLab source control management

Distributed systems and cloud-native design principles

SQL-based data management and configuration handling

Integration with industrial automation platforms and High-Level Control systems

What You Bring

We imagine you a degree withing Software Engineering, Computer Science, Automation Engineering, or related technical field and have extensive experience within complex industrial, logistics, automation, or mission-critical environments.

Moreover we expect you to have:

Knowledge of software architecture, system integration, and interface design.

Experience with High-Level Control systems, distributed software platforms, or similar solutions.

Proven ability to drive technical direction and coordinate activities across global and multidisciplinary teams.

Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem solving.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

A proactive mindset with a high degree of ownership, accountability, and technical leadership.

You are fluent both in both written and spoken English.
