Job Summary
Retail Cashiers maintain high customer service standards, operate sales transactions accurately and efficiently, manage cash register duties, and safeguard company assets in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate Point-of-Sale (POS) equipment to process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting customers and addressing their needs promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the cashier counter and surrounding store areas
- Manage inventory of cashier supplies such as plastic bags, PAID stickers, NETS paper, audit rolls, and credit card machine materials
- Perform housekeeping duties to ensure the store environment is clean and welcoming
- Promote and encourage customers to sign up for Best Denki membership via the mobile app
- Assist in sales of products and extended warranty offerings
- Safeguard company assets by following cash handling and security procedures set by the company
- Adapt to rotating shifts including full shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Communicate effectively in Basic English to support customer interactions and work well with the team
Required competencies and certifications
- Ability to work full shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
