Assembler for Optics & LCT Assemblies (m/f/d)

Work location: 71522, Backnang

What to expect:

• Assembly, integration and modification of electrical and optical Laser Communication Terminals (LCT) system assemblies
• Performance of basic electrical and optical tests during the assembly process
• Splicing of optical fibers
• Inline inspection of intermediate results as well as quality testing

What you bring:

• Completed vocational training in the field of precision mechanics, optics, optoelectronics or electronics
• Experience in the assembly and adjustment of optical devices and systems desirable
• Knowledge in soldering and crimping of aerospace products (ideally with certificate) is an advantage
• Experience in the handling and processing of optical fibers desirable
• Good English skills (spoken and written)
