The Corporate Center is the seat of the Bertelsmann Executive Board. It coordinates all entrepreneurial activities of the Group and undertakes numerous Group functions such as the definition and further development of the Group strategy, capital allocation, financing, and management development, as well as other central tasks in areas such as law, human resources, communication, and information technology.

The Finance department is responsible for the framework conditions of Group financing, is responsible for the financing of the Group and its subsidiaries, manages banking policy, and is the contact person for investors (m/f/d) and rating agencies. Here, the Group's financing on the capital market is centrally carried out in the form of bonds, promissory note loans, private placements, and credit lines. The department manages interest rate risk and foreign currency risk at the Group level as well as a service provider for subsidiaries, organizes cash management, and provides guarantees where necessary. Additionally, it centrally purchases a large part of the insurance coverage and advises subsidiaries on insurance matters, is responsible for real estate transactions at the Group level, and is involved in the approval of large rental transactions.

Job Description

• Management of the international liability, D&O, and cyber insurance program
• Documentation, examination, and management of international liability, D&O, and cyber policies and the underlying coverage concepts
• Support for the determination of coverage amounts, premium allocation, and commission settlements
• In-house consulting, international coordination of network partners
• Assumption of further lines and areas of responsibility in the field of Financial Lines insurance
• Cross-divisional consulting for subsidiaries as well as project support
• Independent country responsibility

Qualifications

• Completed degree in economics, law, or a comparable academic education in the insurance sector
• Several years of professional experience in the insurance sector, as an insurance broker, or on the policyholder side
• High motivation to familiarize yourself with new areas of responsibility
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• High level of teamwork and communication skills
• Very good English skills
