Fire Alarm & Extinguisher Engineer Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced Fire Alarm & Extinguisher Engineer to work for a well-established fire engineering company based in Slough, Berkshire , covering London and the South East. Role: Fire Alarm & Extinguisher Engineer Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Location: Slough, Berkshire - covering London and the South East Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday Benefits: Company vehicle provided Key Responsibilities of the Fire Alarm & Extinguisher Engineer Installation, servicing and maintenance of fire alarm systems

Carrying out routine inspections and testing of fire alarm systems

Fault-finding and diagnosing issues with fire alarm systems

Carrying out servicing and maintenance of fire extinguishers

Identifying faults and carrying out appropriate repairs and remedial works

Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with relevant health and safety requirements

Completing service reports and associated documentation accurately

Providing professional and courteous customer service while working on client premises

Travelling to customer sites across London and the South East

Working independently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship

Liaising with customers and providing clear explanations of work carried out

Carrying out any other reasonable duties requested by the line manager

About You Previous experience in fire alarm installation, servicing, maintenance and/or fault-finding

Experience working with fire extinguishers would be highly advantageous

Full UK driving licence

Strong problem-solving and fault-finding abilities

Able to work independently and manage your own workload

Good communication and customer service skills

Professional approach when dealing with customers

Reliable, organised and willing to work across London and the South East

Good understanding of health and safety requirements

Qualifications & Certifications The following qualifications and experience would be advantageous: FireQual qualifications

Manufacturer-specific fire alarm training

ECS or CSCS Card

IPAF certification

PASMA certification
