We at Randstad are looking for new operators for our client Bergen Engines. You do not need years of experience from the industry to succeed here. Have you tinkered with a car a bit, helped a friend with renovations, or just like physical work? Then you are well on your way. The most important thing for us is that you have a desire to work and want to learn – we will take care of teaching you the rest on the spot!

How your workday will be  

At Bergen Engines, you will become an important part of the production. You will get your hands dirty, but within safe and controlled frameworks: Melting and casting: You shape metal according to fixed specifications. It is physical, it is real, and it is important. Finish and preparation: You grind and process the products so that they are pristine before being sent further. Quality and safety: You check that what you make meets the standards. At the same time, you look after yourself and the people around you (HMS). Collaboration: You work as a team where you help each other to get things done on time. Who are we looking for? As said: Lack of experience is zero problem. You are the type who likes to fix things yourself and puts in an effort when needed. If you have experience or a trade certificate in chemistry or process, it is a plus that will give you a fantastic "flying start" with us! Do you have truck (T1/T4), overhead crane (G4), Varme Arbeider or Stropp/Anhuker? Great! If not, we will give you the training you need. You show up on time, want to learn a new trade, and take initiative. You must be able to make yourself understood in Norwegian and English, quite simply because it is about safety on the floor.
