Senior Collaboration and Videoconferencing Rooms Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Collaboration and Videoconferencing Rooms Engineer with solid experience in the Cisco Collaboration ecosystem, unified communications (UC), enterprise videoconferencing, and smart room solutions.

The position will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing voice, video, and collaboration solutions, including Cisco CUCM, Webex, Cisco Room Kit, Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR), and hybrid architectures. We are looking for a Senior technical profile, capable of leading high-complexity implementations, performing advanced troubleshooting, and providing technical support to the pre-sales team.

Main Responsibilities

• Implement and administer Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Unity Connection, IM & Presence, CUBE, and SIP trunks.
• Implement Webex Calling, Webex Control Hub, and hybrid collaboration solutions.
• Configure Cisco room solutions, including Room Kit EQX, Webex Board, Room Navigator, Quad Camera, PTZ cameras, and Ceiling Microphone Pro.
• Implement rooms in Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) mode and manage their integration with Teams Admin Center.
• Configure advanced functionalities such as Cross View, Companion Mode, whiteboard, content sharing, and room device control.
• Manage Microsoft Teams Rooms Pro accounts and licenses, Entra ID, and Exchange Online.
• Administer devices through Cisco Control Hub and Microsoft Teams Admin Center.
• Perform advanced N2/N3 voice and video troubleshooting, including SIP, RTP, H.323, SCCP, RoomOS, logs, and xAPI.
• Configure and validate QoS, voice/video VLANs, PoE, and network requirements for collaboration solutions.
• Lead high-complexity room implementations, including boardrooms, VIP rooms, and auditoriums.
• Prepare work plans, change controls, documentation, and technical reports.
• Support the pre-sales area in solution design, sizing, BoM, and technical demonstrations.
• Identify opportunities for improvement or expansion of solutions at client sites.

Indispensable Requirements

• Current CCNP Collaboration.
• Verifiable experience in Cisco Collaboration solutions.
• Mastery of CUCM, Unity Connection, CUBE, and SIP trunks.
• Experience implementing and administering Cisco Webex Calling and Control Hub.
• Experience with Cisco videoconferencing and room devices.
• Knowledge of Cisco Room Kit EQX, Room Navigator, Webex Board, and RoomOS.
• Experience or solid knowledge in Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) and Teams Admin Center.
• Knowledge of integration with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Exchange Online.
• Experience in troubleshooting voice and video protocols.
• Solid knowledge of QoS, SIP/RTP, VLANs, PoE, and networking applied to collaboration.
• Intermediate/advanced technical English for documentation, communication with manufacturers, and sessions with Cisco TAC.

Desirable Knowledge and Certifications

• CCIE Collaboration or progress towards certification.
• Microsoft certifications related to Teams Rooms.
• Microsoft Teams Direct Routing with CUBE.
• UCCX, UCCE, or Webex Contact Center.
• Experience with macros and xAPI automations.
• CCNA or CCNP Enterprise.
• Experience working under project management methodologies.

Competencies

We are looking for a person with high analytical and troubleshooting capacity, customer orientation, effective communication, and the ability to technically lead complex implementations. They must have the autonomy to diagnose voice, video, and collaboration problems, coordinate with manufacturers, and carry out an implementation from design to production.
