R&D Project Manager

We are looking for R&D Project Manager to join our Global R&D Project Team in the unit of DTE (Digital Transformation Enabler - RFID & TOUCHLESS solutions). The position will be based in Tampere, Finland . 

R&D Project Manager is responsible for leading product and technology projects. Duties contain product introduction to production including project documentation, budgeting, and scheduling. R&D Project Manager works in our R&D team and is in close co-operation with sales, product management, purchasing, logistics and production teams worldwide. 

Responsibilities:

Project management of product development projects

Communication to different stakeholders all over the world

Project documentation and change management during project

Supplier and subcontractor management during product development

Product data management

Technical data sheet creation

Continuous development of R&D Project management process and R&D Project related tools 

Qualifications:

Knowledge and experience in R&D process and project management

Experience in leading a team of experts

Technical education (for example BSc/MSc/PhD) from a suitable field (for example electronics, communications, automation, materials science)

Understanding of product qualification and manufacturing

Fluent communication skills in English and Finnish

Knowhow in lamination industry, converting and roll to roll production is considered as an advantage

Capability to work in global team

Team player mentality with open mindset

Ability to travel occasionally
