After order confirmation from the customer, you are technically responsible for the project. You create a detailed specification of the desired functionality and establish guidelines for standards and certification.

You define the system architecture, divide the system into subsystems, and create plans for verification and qualification.

During the development phase, you work together with other engineers on detailed specifications, schedules, designs, implementations, and verifications of subsystems.

You ensure the integration, verification, and qualification of the total system and deliver a complete set of design documentation.

The project is concluded with the successful transfer of the product to the customer, the production site, and potentially a maintenance organization.

At least 5 years of experience in system engineering and medical product development.

Experience with requirement management and the tools used for that.

Preferably knowledge of relevant European and American medical standards and regulations for medical product development such as ISO 13485, IEC 60601, and FDA 21.

Strong communication skills and experience in drafting technical documentation in English.
