System Architect

We are looking for a System Architect Medical product development who plays a key role in our projects for medical customers. You are at the forefront of product development and technologies. Together with the entire engineering team, you make decisions that bring projects to success in a controlled manner.
What are, among others, your tasks and responsibilities? You work closely with our Business Developers to bring in new customers and projects, and in workshops, you excite customers with technical solutions.
You provide technical input for project proposals, including requirements regarding standards and product certification, concept designs, development work, and cost estimates.
After order confirmation from the customer, you are technically responsible for the project. You create a detailed specification of the desired functionality and establish guidelines for standards and certification.
You define the system architecture, divide the system into subsystems, and create plans for verification and qualification.
During the development phase, you work together with other engineers on detailed specifications, schedules, designs, implementations, and verifications of subsystems.
You ensure the integration, verification, and qualification of the total system and deliver a complete set of design documentation.
The project is concluded with the successful transfer of the product to the customer, the production site, and potentially a maintenance organization.

In addition, we offer: Good salary: with a max. of €8,150 gross per month based on a full-time work week and depending on your previous work experience and educational background.
Quarterly bonus: this is turnover-dependent and can amount to a max. of 5% of your quarterly salary.

What would we like to see in our future colleague? A completed bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering.
At least 5 years of experience in system engineering and medical product development.
Experience with requirement management and the tools used for that.
Preferably knowledge of relevant European and American medical standards and regulations for medical product development such as ISO 13485, IEC 60601, and FDA 21.
Strong communication skills and experience in drafting technical documentation in English.
