Software Engineer

Are you an experienced software engineer who does not shy away from complex technical issues? For Benchmark, we are looking for a Software Engineer with in-depth expertise in C++, who takes substantive responsibility within challenging high-tech development trajectories.

As a Software Engineer, you will work within a multidisciplinary engineering team on the development of advanced software for high-tech systems. You are fully involved in the design, simulation, implementation, and verification phases of embedded application software and make a substantive contribution to technical choices and solution directions.

Within the Scrum team, your focus lies on: Designing and (further) developing customer-specific embedded applications.

Robustly and maintainably implementing software in C++.

Verifying and testing functionality within complex systems.

You act as the technical point of contact for the customer and are able to clearly substantiate and communicate substantive considerations. Additionally, you report both externally (to the customer) and internally (to the project leader) regarding progress, risks, and technical choices.

You will work in an international, high-tech environment where quality, reliability, and technical depth are central. Together with your team, you will develop innovative technology for a customer that is a leader in testing and measurement, radio and RF, cybersecurity, and secure communication. Additionally, we offer: Competitive salary: with a range of €5,281 - €7,010 gross per month based on a full-time work week and depending on your previous work experience and educational background.

Quarterly bonus: this is turnover-dependent and can amount to a maximum of 5% of your quarterly salary.

Furthermore, we consider the following important: You have a robust and extensive background in C++ programming.

Familiarity with Agentic or AI-supported programming.

Familiarity with Qt and Python is a plus (but not required).

Knowledge of electronics is a plus (but not essential).

A completed BSc. or MSc. degree in the field of Computer Science or related.

Good command of the English language in all aspects.
