With talented, responsible, and committed professionals, we create products and solutions that impact every corner of the country, generate results, and provide a better life.​Come build the industry of the future in an innovative, upright, and inclusive environment, where respect is a non-negotiable value and you can be who you are.​Responsibilities and assignmentsWe are looking for a Process Owner to act as a technical reference in the evolution of production processes, ensuring standardization, operational excellence, and technological development in our industrial units.This position will have a strategic role in building the future of Belgo's processes, connecting technical knowledge, innovation, and continuous improvement to elevate operational performance, product quality, and business competitiveness.Main responsibilitiesEnsure production capacity and process standardization across units through continuous analysis of technical requirements, standards, internal and external benchmarks, promoting adequacy and improvement actions.Conduct production and product process audits, evaluating adherence to established standards, technical requirements, and industrial best practices.Lead and support technical teams in the structured solution of complex problems, especially those with systemic impact and scope across different units.Act as a technical reference, providing support to factories and customers when necessary.Be the guardian of process knowledge, ensuring the consolidation, documentation, and dissemination of practices, standards, and technologies.Develop technical professionals, training analysts, supervisors, and operators, as well as contributing to the formation of the pipeline of future Process Owners and technical leaders.Build the long-term strategic vision of processes (Masterplan), aligned with the strategy of the segment and Belgo, considering production capacity, technological modernization, and evolution of the industrial footprint.Develop new processes, products, and equipment of greater complexity in partnership with the production units.Lead strategic projects and investments, ensuring robust technical and economic feasibility analyses.Main challenges of the positionMap, structure, and document procedures and controls for the core processes of heat treatment and pickling.Consolidate technical knowledge currently distributed among different areas and teams.Map equipment, operating procedures, and safety requirements of industrial processes.Evaluate and optimize process and product setups, reducing variability and increasing operational stability.Develop new process routes for new products.Structure and strengthen process FMEA analyses.Propose improvements aiming for gains in:Operational performance;Product quality;Safety;Environmental sustainability;Cost reduction.Evaluate and implement new technologies applicable to industrial processes, including automation initiatives.Requirements and qualificationsMandatory requirementsCompleted degree in Metallurgical and/or Materials Engineering, Chemistry, or Mechanical EngineeringAdvanced EnglishIntermediate Power BIExperience in the metallurgical industry (steelmaking or metal transformation) Experience in the use and application of quality toolsDesirable requirements Experience in steel heat treatment and/or surface treatment (pickling, phosphating, etc.) Experience in product development Knowledge and application of the Six Sigma methodologyAdditional informationBenefits:Allya (discount club)Milk allowanceGlasses allowanceSchool benefitChristmas basketLeisure clubFundação Félix Chomé (scholarship)Baby kitExtended maternity leaveExtended paternity leaveMedication planMedical and dental health planPrivate pensionProfit Sharing ProgramInternal restaurantVacation returnLife insuranceTransportation vouchersWellHub (wellness and gym platform)
