Planning Specialist - MRP

We are looking for a Planning Specialist | MRP to take on a strategic role in managing materials planning, ensuring the availability of inputs for multiple manufacturing units and contributing directly to supply chain performance. Main responsibilities Strategic MRP and Supply Management Plan the supply of inputs for 6 plants and 9 manufacturing units, ensuring operational continuity and fulfillment of the production plan. Develop and evolve MRP processes, ensuring correct material parameterization and adherence to replenishment policies. Define supply strategies for national and international suppliers, considering lead times, logistical capacity, and supply chain risks. Balance material availability, supply capacity, and production needs. Integrated Planning (S&OP and S&OE) Execute tactical and operational planning (monthly, weekly, and daily), ensuring adherence to the guidelines defined in the S&OP process. Support the preparation and conduct of S&OE routines, consolidating analyses to support decision-making. Monitor planning KPIs, identifying risks and deviations regarding the Production Plan, MRP, and Budget. Supply and Demand Management Ensure the balance between factory demand and supply capacity. Identify short-term deviations and lead corrective actions with the involved areas. Prioritize critical materials considering operational and financial impacts. Inventory Management Define and review safety stock, coverage, economic lot size, and other planning parameter policies. Monitor indicators such as coverage, turnover, stockouts, excess, and obsolescence. Develop strategies to reduce capital invested in inventory while maintaining high service levels. Data Analysis and Performance Develop performance indicators for materials planning. Conduct root cause analysis for operational deviations. Prepare dashboards and management reports that increase the reliability of decisions and planning. Interface with Strategic Areas Work in partnership with Production, Logistics, Commercial, and Supply Chain to ensure plan execution. Lead alignment meetings regarding supply constraints. Support executive decisions related to material availability. Promote synergy between manufacturing units, seeking resource optimization and operational gains. Systems and Continuous Improvement Work in planning systems such as SAP IBP, SAP APO, SAP ECC, Power BI, and other analytical tools. Lead improvements in ERP planning parameters. Automate controls, indicators, and processes using Power BI, Excel, and data analysis solutions. Support digital transformation projects and Supply Chain evolution.
