Location: Stevenage Contract: 12 Months (Maternity Cover) Working Pattern: Full-Time on-site, Monday to Friday with occasional hybrid working Pay Rate: £16.45 per hour PAYE / £22.00 per hour Umbrella Security Clearance: BPSS with eligibility to obtain SC Clearance required Our Aerospace client is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive HR Advisor to join their HR team based in Stevenage on a 12-month maternity cover contract. Working closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and wider HR teams, you will support a broad range of operational HR activities and projects, gaining exposure across the full employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities Provide HR administrative, operational and project support to HR Business Partners and the wider HR team. Offer guidance and support to employees and managers on day-to-day HR matters. Support onboarding, induction and employee exit processes. Assist with immigration and global mobility activities. Support recruitment processes and hiring activities. Provide time, attendance and payroll support. Assist with disciplinary and grievance procedures. Coordinate meetings, site visits and HR events. Manage HR data, reporting, audits and surveys. Coordinate long service award processes. Support various HR projects and business initiatives. About You We are interested in hearing from candidates who possess: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. The ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. A proactive and self-motivated approach. Strong teamwork and stakeholder management skills. Good Microsoft Office skills, with knowledge of HR systems being advantageous. A genuine interest in developing a career within Human Resources.
